“The Orc Berserker embodies force in its most direct form.” — Alex Oliver
The Orc Berserker stands in fury, the whole figure turned toward the attack.
— A muscled mass swollen past a man’s build;
— Two matched axes raised high, ready to fall again and again;
— Arms open, the torso left bare, nothing drawn in to cover him;
— The jaw wide open, the roar carried across the field;
— One foot set on the bare skull of a horned beast.
SIGNIFICANCE
The Orc Berserker is violence in its first and rawest form.
When the fury starts it does not turn back.
He does not stop to weigh the cost.
This is force the moment it becomes destruction.
Alex Oliver
the sculptor
With over three decades of experience in traditional and digital sculpting, Alex Oliver stands as a global reference in the field. He created 120 exclusive fine art miniatures for Fantastic Art Studios, honoring the classic icons of TTRPG—tabletop role-playing games. Oliver has worked with studios such as Blizzard Entertainment and Naughty Dog, shaping universes like World of Warcraft and Diablo II. He also sculpted lifelike dinosaurs for National Geographic and the Discovery Channel. In addition, he has taught at leading sculpture schools including Gnomon School, Massive Black, and LAAFA – Los Angeles Academy of Figurative Art.
Oliver’s journey was not easy. He began without resources, mentors, or clear paths to follow. What carried him forward was a quiet obsession—an inner calling. A near-sacred commitment to treat every sculpture as worthy of existence.
